Gender – based violence, food insecurity, homelessness, unemployment, economic displacement, Human trafficking are all on the rise worldwide due to widespread poverty embedding itself into society.

Girls and women being raped and trafficked, dropping out of school, child marriage, forced marriage, high divorce rates in heterosexual marriage, being groomed in  high-control groups, cults-

Rituals and sects,  victims of love bombing and idealisation, and women losing their jobs worldwide to list a few, are direct causes of  long-term economic hardship severely driving up the cost of living,  poverty and crime rate.

Decades of socioeconomic data confirm a direct causal relationship between leaving school early, all the aforementioned issues and trapped cycles of financial precarity.

A report published by The World Health Organisation (WHO) on June  the 16th 2026, sends  shivers down one’ spine :  “Globally, about 840 million women and girls worldwide have been subjected to physical and/or sexual intimate partner violence (IPV) or non-partner sexual violence in their lifetime […] Femicide / Gender-Related Killings:

In 2024, around 50,000 women and girls worldwide were killed by intimate partners or family members—meaning an average of 137 women and girls lost their lives every day in the private sphere[…] Human Trafficking & Other Abuses: Women and girls make up the vast majority (around 60% to 72%) of detected human trafficking victims.”

In an article published by Maniza Habib, Senior Research and Program Manager at Population Institute. The Population Institute on October the 13th 2026   entitled: The Rising Rates of Feminicide and the Need To Recognize  It as  Distinct Crime it reads:

“Whether or not it is recognized as such, feminicide is happening all over the world.Somewhere, a woman is killed every 10 minutes-and those are just the reported cases. Many femicides never get counted in news reports or statistics. For example, in the U.S. there is a growing pattern of Black femicide victims getting erased from the record.”

As a reminder, founded in 1969 by Rodney Shaw, a Methodist minister, The Population Institute is a non-profit organization based in Washington D.C.-

Analysing demographic trends and providing evidence-based research to policymakers and the media. Its core value is to promote a universal sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR).

Meanwhile, on March 2026, global poverty update from the World Bank provided New  scary data and updated  a higher  International Poverty Line by providing Global poverty numbers as follow: “826 million people live below the $ 3 per day Poverty Line.”

As per the number of people trafficked worldwide and on how much in money Human trafficking makes per year, on March 2026, The International Labour Organization (ILO’s) published the following:

“49.6 million people are living in modern slavery on any given day. This figure encompasses two broad categories: forced labour (27.6 million) and forced marriage (22 million).

Human trafficking is a $236 billion annual industry. That figure reflects total illegal profits from all forms of forced labour, including sexual exploitation.”

This figure represents a dramatic 37% increase since 2014, driven by an increase in both the number of people exploited and the higher profits extracted per victim.

Primal fear !!!

When precariousness becomes chronic, it no longer only affects the marginal fringes of the population but extends to broader strata, making girls and women the primary target of human traffickers.

NO ONE IS SAFE!!! Girls and women are mostly trafficked for Forced Commercial Sexual Exploitation.

So sad when social media platforms worldwide, some of the mainstream media and big screen cinema glamourise sex work!!!!

As a young girl, a woman who thinks you can be a part-time high-end sex worker to make ends meet for you or your family, your project might not even birth as your first client will be your pimp who will sell your flesh and soul for their sole profit, after confiscating your ID and shipping you away from your family.

As for yourself: If cleaners, cashiers, teachers, lecturers, doctors, brain surgeons …are on strike worldwide because they are struggling to make ends meet due to economy, what makes you think you are too special to just strip to earn a secure and peaceful life?

Beware! Beware! As the spooky season dawns… one MUST NOT only fear monsters and vampires this Halloween as the rising violence inflicted upon women worldwide has proven that real monsters are amongst us.

Recent violence and crimes against women worldwide in brief:

France September 2026: Extensive social media campaigns and calls for justice  for ILianna-Zélie Ndjock.

The  Cameroonian teenage girl  who allegedly slipped and fell from a rooftop following a surprised birthday celebration thrown by close friends in her honour with no family members attending.

Initiated by The Cameroonian Diaspora in Europe, a silent march took place in Paris on Sunday, October the 11th, 2026   in memory of Ilianna-Zélie Ndjock, a Cameroonian 17-year-old girl who tragically died following an  alleged  “fall” during a birthday party in late September 2026 in Belleville, Paris.

Under the slogan “Iliana friends said to her parents they were throwing a surprise party for her, but the real surprise was the death they planned to offer her.”

It is believed the march and massive wave of online grief and scepticism are  meant to beg The French Justice to reopen the case as a murder case rather than just an accident.

Many within the Cameroonian and global diaspora continue to take social media platforms by storm, as they suspect the teenage girl may allegedly have been pushed rather than fell.

Lyhanna Rameau Bernard, an 11-year-old middle school student, was abducted, raped, and murdered in Fleurance, Gers, France, after disappearing on May the 29th , 2026.

Lyhanna, an 11-year-old girl, was found dead in Gers, southwestern France after being raped.

The man charged in the case had already been the subject of five separate investigations for sexual violence against children, all of which were dismissed or dropped with no further action taken.

The Pelicot rape case December 2024 – January 2025

The Pelicot rape case is a landmark French criminal trial focused on Dominique Pelicot, who systematically drugged and sexually abused his wife, Gisèle Pelicot whilst videotaping the scenes for over nearly a decade and invited a myriad of men (all of whom were strangers) into their home to rape her while she was unconscious.

United Kingdom:

Inner London Crown Court June 2025

Zhenhao Zou, born 20 February 1997,  is a Chinese serial rapist who was convicted in 2025 of drugging and raping 10 women in London, where he was living as a University College London (UCL) PhD student. He then filmed his multiple assaults, and kept various items in a trophy box just like in creepy high profile serial killer movies.

October 2026 Greater Manchester Abuse Case:

Greater Manchester Police and local courts concluded two major, high-profile abuse cases involving long-term campaigns of violence, control, and sexual assault.

Sean Peers admitted offence against woman who was drugged by her husband allowing other men to sexually abuse her for more than two decades.

A husband is accused of inviting 13 other men to rape his wife at their family home. He admitted to sexually assaulting his wife who had been drugged by him.

The estranged husband whom we will name as John Doe, to safeguard his wife’s anonymity, (as neither her married name nor her maiden name have ever been released in court).

Sean Peers age 38, pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting an unconscious woman, whose husband had drugged her and invited many men to abuse her.

Sean Peers, had been due to stand trial alongside 11 other men, but admitted one count of assault by penetration on 15 September 2024 when he appeared at Manchester Minshull Street crown court.

South Africa October 2026 Gauteng and North West massacre

The ongoing investigations into another gender-based carnage has stunned the world!!!

South African police have been investigating a mass killing after  the discovery of at least 11 to 12 women’s bodies, dumped in open fields and sideroad areas in the Ekurhuleni municipality, east of Johannesburg, between mid-July 2026 and late September 2026.

It is believed victims are allegedly young women in their 20s and 30s.

Most victims were reportedly found stripped of their cloths,  battered,  half burned, or bearing  obvious and severe signs of sexual violence ,  physical assault too graphic to find the right word to describe.

Canada: an international student Alexandra Martine Diengo Lumbayi went missing on October the 2nd , 2024, and was  found dead in the St. Maurice River on October the 8th 2024.

Alexandra Martine Diengo Lumbayi age 21,  originally from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) was a student  at the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières (UQTR) in Canada, whose disappearance and death sparked  global concern.

Her mother, Ms Rosemine Ndjondo raised the alarm after not being able to reach her daughter when her rent payment stopped.

It is believed one of her roommates (a male roommate) stated that he last dropped Alexandra off near Saint-Quentin Island in Trois-Rivières, where her lifeless body was found.

United State of America September 2026,  gruesome rape case:

A young lady was lured and raped by 7 male students for more than 5 hours after they allegedly  injected  ketamine in each of  their penis,  so each of them can  overperform their sexual rape plan.

On September the 16th , 2026, a former Cornell University female student nicknamed  Jane Doe filed a civil lawsuit alleging she was drugged and gang-raped in 2024 by seven members of the Chi Phi fraternity house.

It is believed the crime was premeditated because as a reminder, it has been medically proven that a man injecting ketamine in their penis will experience a prolonged, rigid, and or painful erection lasting more than 5 hours: hence the duration of the rape!

Funny story, as a repression decision, the 7 male student rapists were allegedly summoned to write an apology essay ONLY.

Many students feel a sense on injustice and a lack of seriousness about the perpetrator’s punishment.  In September 2026, the plaintiff took her case to the New York State Supreme Court.

On March 2026, The International Labour Organization (ILO’s) published the following:“49.6 million people are living in modern slavery on any given day. The Philadelphia “House of Horrors”! The ongoing investigation into missing multiple women.

September 2026 – October 2026 Philadelphia Police and the FBI shared more than 1 million individual digital evidence items

On September the 17th 2026, Philadelphia police and the FBI believe five women are deceased as investigation continues.

Philadelphia police and the FBI are investigating a Philadelphia 44-year-old Eugene Horsch and his late father, Raymond “R.C.”

Horsch, after finding over one million digital files at their home in Philadelphia’s Olney neighbourhood.

Both father and son appear to be connected to multiple missing women in the city’s Olney section.

The house was allegedly previously owned by Horsch’s father, Raymond “R.C.” Horsch, a filmmaker and erotic photographer who died in 2025.

Not to mention

A months-long investigation uncovering a hidden network of thousands of men sharing tips on how to drug and rape women. CNN’s Saskya Vandoorne once interviewed victims (women who have survived that type of sexual abuse) and tracks down a man she met online who boasted about raping his wife.

Are dogs being trained to sexually attack women? The last straw that nearly gave a heart attack to our editorial is when on Saturday October the 16th , 2026 people took X (formerly known as Twitter) to expose A DESPICABLE EXTREME MACABRE DOG TOY.

Dogs have allegedly been trained to sexually assault women as they have been offered doll toys of naked women opening their mouth to receive the filth from the male pet.

‘They used dogs’: New Al Jazeera film exposes Israel’…

9 Jun 2026 — Former detainees detail systematic torture and sexual violence, including rape, while in Israeli custody.

No wonder the rate of dogs attacking women has risen! Recent veterinary and public health studies note that severe dog attacks on adults, particularly middle-aged and older women, have seen the fastest rate of increase.

The list goes on!

Unlike what you may have been led to believe, women and girls trafficking goes far beyond borders of traditional war conflicts zones and so called third world countries.

Human traffickers can be anyone, of any age range, any gender, any skin tone or colour, any social class and background.

They could be family members, a classmate, a colleague, a long-time family friend, a partner, a neighbour, a landlord, a letting agency, a lover, a business owner, a government representative, a good-looking man or woman… someone you have met online on a dating site.

Traffickers are patient and most of them need time to study your professional or schooling patterns, your personal, family, or social life.

Human and gender-based trafficking operates across global, digital, economic, neighbourhoods and migration networks.

Human trafficking of women and girls remains globally driven by high demand in destination markets, which frequently include mostly wealthy nations because usually, only people with high expenditure power can afford, organs bids on the black market.

Wealthier countries and cities often serve as primary destination areas for cross-border trafficking due to economic disparities and the high demand for illicit services and cheap labour.

For instance, it has been statistically well-documented and proven that wealthy individuals with high purchasing power are the primary buyers of human organs on the black market.

Due to a severe global shortage of legally donated organs and a high demand from patients who have the financial means to bypass official waiting lists.

Women trafficking is all pervasive!!!

Based on data gathered from 155 countries, a first Global assessment of the scope of human trafficking by a Report from the Executive Director of UNODC, in New York Antonio, Maria Costa said that:

“Many Governments are still in denial: there is even neglect when it comes to either reporting on, or prosecuting cases of human trafficking. The most common form of human trafficking (79%) is sexual exploitation. The victims of sexual exploitation are predominantly women and girls.”

It has been proven that High-income countries experience significant demand for sexual exploitation (which predominantly targets women and girls) as well as forced labour in sectors such as domestic work, agriculture, and hospitality.

Due to economic disparities, traffickers exploit the pull factor of ultra-rich economies, using misleading promises of legitimate employment, education bursaries, or a better life to lure victims from lower-income background, countries  or rich countries’ borders.

A pull factor is described by the online dictionary as a geographic and sociologic term for any positive condition, quality, or attribute in a destination place that attracts people to migrate there.

Whether it be for Socio economic motivations such as:  good schools, quality healthcare, places already occupied by family members, better job opportunity, higher wages, career growth.

Or from a geopolitical stance such as (a peaceful environment enabling freedom of speech, a multicultural city, a nice weather region with safe surroundings, and low risk of natural disasters).

According to 2026 INTERPOL Global Financial Fraud Threat Assessment News—

“Trafficking rings sometimes establish sham charities or shell NPOs. They use these entities to facilitate visa fraud, justify the international transport of victims under the guise of “volunteer programs” or “educational aid,” and move money across borders with less regulatory scrutiny.

Life Insurance and Financial Exploitation[…]

Within the broader scope of financial fraud associated with organized crime, life insurance policies are exploited in Straw Policy Schemes: Traffickers or corporate fronts take out life insurance policies on victims, naming the criminal handlers or shell entities as beneficiaries.”

Below are safety tips to parents, guardians and tutors worldwide on how to train their children to avoid being victims of violence, crimes and trafficking in a fast changing yet cruel world.

Teach your children that although some people are genuinely kind and helpful, others may appear kind to trick or hurt them: and because no one is a mind reader, it is crucial to stay away from trouble in order to always remain safe.

Traffickers target vulnerability! Young girls and women  renting flats on their own, or those hit by poverty. Give your children enough pocket money, provide them with their favourite yet delicious, nourishing meal in their pack lunch. It is sad to say some have been taken, just for a lunch.

Teach your children to always stay close to trustworthy adults such as a parent, a guardian, their caregiver hired by their parents or guardian.

Teach your children To NEVER accept a lift from strangers. To NEVER go anywhere with people they don’t know. Chances are they may offer a genuine non transactional help, out of pure empathy.

BUT the burning question is: WHAT IF they are part of a trafficking ring?

Teach your children to scream loud if a stranger approaches  them pretending to be their new carer who will drop them home that day.

Keep an eye on your children’s digital interactions.

Teach your children NOT TO GO anywhere with a stranger just because they offer them a toy, treats, an expensive gift, or rides or say they  know their parents.

Teach your children that private parts are so called for a reason: whether in a boarding school or not, they MUST NOT share their private part in real life or on screen with people.

For teenage girls, young and more mature women worldwide.

Every day, traffickers use Online and Digital recruitment such as fraudulent job ads, appartements to rent, social media platforms, dating apps for romantic grooming…

Because Digital grooming enables networks to trap and traffic victims remotely, long before any physical contact happens.

Keep an eye on your own digital interactions. Cyber bulling, Cyber -stalking, or tracking apps are incessantly used by abusers to control young women.

Take threats and Isolation signals very Seriously: If your daughter stops seeing her friends, drops her extracurricular activities, has mood swings out of the blue or has unexplained bruising, seek professional advice or support immediately.

Stay away from surprise birthday parties, job promotion parties, bachelorette parties  at someone else’ house or at a  best friend’s house or abroad with a group of friends and NO family members or responsible adults physical presence.

Sometimes genuine unintentional accidents happen! BUT what IF traffickers have been working behind the scenes for decades, planning and expecting the perfect time to strike like real predators do?

When things turn sour, in a blind spot area, with neither cameras nor a third party to witness, traffickers easily get away with crimes.

Human traffickers and associated networks usually tamper the scene to make it look like an accident;

It could be the corpse of a homeless person with a similar age range, a similar body mass index (BMI), that no next of kin ever claims the body to the morgue after death or even someone who has died in a severe car crash months before.

Traffickers can make it look like a body may have just fallen from the 20th window of a tower block, or from a mountain cliff.

It is well documented that traffickers and exploiters usually alter crime scenes.  They know how to manipulate digital and physical evidence. They can stage areas, locations, properties, to obstruct police investigations in an attempt to make murder or fatal exploitation look like suicides, drug overdoses, or tragic accidents.

DO NOT share your full name, address, university, workplace or photos with anyone you don’t know in real life.

Think twice before you share online. Your reputation, your safety … are at stake: pictures, posts, are permanent Online! Your Digital Footprint is part of who you are as it might reach people you do not want.

Beware!!!

DO NOT fall under the skilful use of the illusion of wealth via financial deception and manipulation most traffickers use to lure their victims.

This is not a joke: most traffickers have financial means to hook and lure their victims: They can exhibit insane yet expressive pompous life styles. Money is not an issue for those making money out of human trafficking.

They have the budget to display an extravagant lifestyle as in: to afford a jaw dropping luxury flats, cars, highly expensive travel destinations and hotels, designer clothes and offering lavish gifts. They are aware victims can fall and be taken only if they manage to create a false sense of security, great opportunity and success.

ALWAYS travel to new places with a sibling or a parent.

A casual live broadcast can expose real-time geolocation data and reveal your exact location.

SAY NO to digital harassment: if you mistakenly find yourself arguing live in a panel, remember, the longer you stay online, the more likely traffickers can locate you online just by the wall of your property.

NEVER meet someone you have been speaking to virtually in real life for the first time at night. Some people may pretend to be who they are not online.

Human traffickers are highly organised and patient: they can wait a decade until they hit their mark.

For instance, a landlord, a letting agency MUST NOT send plumbers or a technician at yours without a prior appointment, whether it be via a text message, an email or a call.

If they do or mistakenly do and do not address an apology when you raise the issue, chances are, they are traffickers using a letting agency as a shell company, or posing as a landlord or a landlady as a front.

Make a clear difference between someone trying to date you as a single mother with the sole intention to have access to your child/ children in order to groom them.

Be aware of your personal limits by setting and respecting your boundaries in friendship, online interactions and or with work colleagues.  People who respect you know where to draw the line because CONSENT ALWAYS MATTERS.

Raising awareness over trafficking is CRITICAL! Remaining unaware is a huge danger.  No one is safe!!! Children, Teens, Adults. It could happen to anyone.

It is believed Human trafficking networks usually disguised themselves as legitimate Non- Profit Organizations, (NGOs) or fraudulent employment agencies, or mature students bursary with the false aim to finance their memoir or PHD abroad to exploit vulnerable populations.

Criminal networks build fake non-profits, religious entities, or bogus recruitment agencies. They use these fronts to establish a veneer of legitimacy.

Once a victim is trapped, traffickers usually seize their legal documents, exploit victims’ personal identities to open bank accounts, secure credit, they even orchestrate welfare benefit fraud.

SAY NO to domestic and gender-based violence because they usually  escalate in the long run.

Be careful of partners expressing extreme jealousy by dictating what you wear, or who try to isolate you from friends, family, work and colleagues.

Partners who impose access to your phone/passwords, computer passwords, or have scary mood swings.

Build a safe environment , a strong connection with family, close friends: share with them your landlords’ details , your letting agency details, your work place address…

Plan leaving with no violence by ensuring you are in a public area when breaking up.

If you do not feel safe, if you are overly controlled, it is safer to exit the relationship as soon as possible.

Our editorial HOPES Human Rights Watch and International Laws worldwide will establish and enforce laws that protect girls and women worldwide by banning laws allowing girls as young as 9 to marry.  By fighting businesses that exploit regulatory loopholes to allow brothels to mushroom.

We hope government worldwide will invest more in education to keep girls in schools, women in jobs, to promote family/humans’ values, to prevent child marriage, teenage pregnancy, marriage breakdown and to eradicate the seemingly never-ending violence against women and feminicide world-wide.

The Bridge Magazine dedicates a moment of silence, a candle lit, its thoughts and prayers for: Ilianna-Zélie Ndjock, Lyhanna Rameau Bernard, Alexandra Martine Diengo Lumbayi , all the 12 women who have lost their lives in the Johannesburg massacre.

Our deepest condolences to their respective families.

A moment of silence, a candle lit, our thoughts and prayers for all those and their families suffering and morning in silence worldwide, in remoted areas where data on femicide is less available, whose stories remain unreported in the news, media and unrecorded statistically.

    Dear ALL,

    Primal fear!!!

When precariousness becomes chronic, it no longer only affects the marginal fringes of the population but extends to broader strata, making girls and women the primary target of human traffickers.

Unlike what you may have been led to believe, women and girls trafficking goes far beyond borders of traditional war conflicts zones and so called third world countries.

    Kind Regards,

    Dear ALL,

NO ONE IS SAFE!!! Girls and women are mostly trafficked for Forced Commercial Sexual Exploitation.

So sad when social media platforms worldwide, some of the mainstream media and big screen cinema glamourise sex work!!!

Beware! Beware! As the spooky season dawns…

One MUST NOT only fear monsters and vampires this Halloween as the rising violence inflicted upon women worldwide has proven that real monsters are amongst us.

    Kind Regards,

    Dear ALL,

Our editorial aims to portray the image of Constructive Journalism throughout the world.

Constructive Journalism is and remains our zeitgeist and aims to challenge and give a balance to the status quo established by the mainstream media.

The Bridge Magazine 🌍 🗞️ is politically and religiously neutral: we bring together different cultures, tribes, social classes, skin tones, nations, continents, and ideologies from around the world.

MANKIND is what we value the most. The blossoming and success of humanity is and remains at the centre of my editorial concerns.

Our readers are the reason why I keep holding on the pen, pencil and keyboard despite the odds and stress that I experience in Journalism.
