The first human who first came up with the evil idea that they will make quick and easy money by feeding on their own kind planted the seed of greed.
The seed of greed has spread profusely like a cancer, contaminating many. Such a powerful seed that has gone on to flourishing and corrupting the soul of a handful of powerful humans on earth for centuries.
Those whose appetite grew as they enjoyed feeding on their own kind either go unnoticed, get away with crimes or are protected by corrupted lawyers and media in order to maintain and increase their wealth, thus making them untouchable and by extension destroying the lives of billions.
Depressing statistics from December the 4th 2025 are concerning: According to the Gates Foundation’s 2025 Goalkeepers Report:
“Child deaths are expected to rise from 4.6 million in 2024 to 4.8 million in 2025 […] The number of children due to die before they reach 5 years old is expected to rise for the first time this century, due to cuts to global health funding by high-income countries […] If the cuts are permanent, that could mean between 12 and 16 million more child deaths by 2045,” The report adds, “depending on funding levels”.

With such statistics regarding the death toll of children, due to the lack of funding, even Sir John Pilger’ soul would protest his concerns from Beyond the Grave.
As a reminder, Pilger is what our editorial arguably believes to be the Royalty of Investigative Journalism at its finest.

When reporting on serious issues, Pilger remains the one to quote as he truly symbolised advocating for the voiceless worldwide.
In Western democracies …
“The major western democracies are moving towards corporatism. Democracy has become a business plan, with a bottom line for every human activity, every dream, every decency, every hope.
The main parliamentary parties are now devoted to the same economic policies — socialism for the rich, capitalism for the poor — and the same foreign policy of servility to endless war. This is not democracy.
It is to politics what McDonalds is to food.”
― John Pilger
In order to understand the unusual twist of our December ‘Standfirst’, we should ask ourselves: Who benefits from populations’ starving? From famine, homelessness, extreme poverty, Human Trafficking? Child Sex Trafficking, war on oil, gas, commodities, mineral resources, arms trade?
Who benefits from global trade wars? Pharmaceutical industries? Prostitution? Pimps? Tribalism?
In other words: who is scared or threatened of making less money or profit if the world becomes more knowledgeable? More educated? Healthy? Wealthy? Free? …

Food and diet related drug dependency:
Pilger wrote: “We can’t keep eating like this […] Where will it come from? All this would be hard enough. But as people’s incomes increase, their diet tends to shift from plant protein to animal protein…” ― John Pilger
Arms trade
In his 1998 book, Hidden Agendas, Chapter 2, ‘Flying the Flag, Arming the World’, John Pilger wrote:
“Today, Britain is the world’s second largest arms exporter after the United States. In no other export sector is Britain so successful as in the arms business.
…The most famous arms dealer of all was Sir Bazil Zaharoff, whose reputation popularised the term ‘merchant of death’.
Zaharoff understood the connection between arms and power, diplomacy, spying and bribery, and flying the flag, regardless of whose flag it was. “I made wars so that I could sell arms to both sides” he declared.”
Pilger’s quote is still topical, as per the latest statistics on arms trade revealed on September 8th 2025:
“Defence exports are now worth over £14.5 billion annually and growing – making Britain the world’s second-largest arms exporter after the United States, supporting work to make defence an engine for economic growth and delivering on the Plan for Change.”

Understanding new diplomacy as a facade of modern imperialism/ colonisation:
Recent facts regarding civilians/ children casualties from war zones or red zones explain why imperialism looks like new diplomacy.
If suffering and child casualties are more intense or common in the naturally wealthiest places on earth ,it is not a coincidence.
Venezuela under Washington’s radar.
Venezuela has been making the mainstream media news headlines over ‘Washington using the border of Venezuela as a military base to attack’.
Venezuelan children are at risk of spending Christmas on an empty stomach as Washington have allegedly invaded Caracas for its crude oil reserves. It is believed Venezuelan crude oil reserves is meant to last more than 1,374 years of oil left without net exports.
Venezuela is mostly known for its reserves of oil. According to statistics: “Venezuela exported just $4.05bn worth of crude oil in 2023.”
“Venezuela holds the world’s largest proven oil reserves. Estimated at 333 billion barrels” which is “7 times more than the United States by miles”.

The South Sudan- Sudan Crude Oil
Unlike what you may have been led to believe, children of South Sudan are not as poor as portrayed. It is a misrepresentation:
The country relies on oil for more than “85 % of its economy. As a source of foreign exchange.”
The children of South Sudan have been “cursed” for having a soil rich in oil and are then indefinitely misplaced in order to enable oil conglomerate to exploit the untapped natural gas, oil and hydrocarbons they possess.
Let alone the fact that South Sudan is also very rich in iron ore, copper, chromium, zinc, tungsten, mica, silver, and gold as a new windfall.
According to a German NGO that has studied the issue for years: “It is believed oil companies operating in South Sudan are responsible for the contamination of the water drunk and used by more than 600,000 people — or 5% of the population of the country”.
According to The TPCOP Project Overview: “The South Sudan-Sudan Crude Oil Transportation system includes two main pipelines; The Greater Nile (GNPOC) Pipeline starts at Heglig when the 270km Mala-Tharjiath Block 5A Pipeline meets the 80k Unity-Toma South Pipeline and proceeds 1600km to Marine Terminal Port Sudan.”

The DR Congo mineral reserves are believed to exceed $24 trillion fortune – latest statistics on February 2025 revealed.
The country is enriched with the world’s largest reserves of cobalt, substantial uranium deposits, and untapped quantities of tungsten, coltan, and gold.
According to reports on 17 Feb 2025: the total value placed of these are at $24 trillion.
Palestine holds massive potential reserves of oil and gas.
Over 3 billion barrels (480,000,000 m3) of oil are estimated to exist off the coast and beneath occupied Palestinian lands.
Gaza Strip Untapped gas reserves
Palestine’s untapped gas reserves, has suggested the field could generate $4bn (£3bn) according to recent statistics.
According to recent statistics: “Oil and natural gas resources in the occupied Palestinian territory could generate hundreds of billions of dollars for development […]
The two Gaza Marine fields were estimated to contain more than 1 trillion cubic feet (about 30 billion cubic meters) of natural gas, more than is needed to power the Palestinian territories, with potential to export.”

Venezuelan children are at risk of spending Christmas on an empty stomach as Washington have allegedly invaded Caracas for its crude oil reserves.
“Venezuela holds the world’s largest proven oil reserves. Estimated at 333 billion barrels. “
Enough money to feed, educate/train in all sectors, cure children, thus enabling populations worldwide to build cities.
But strangely enough, a handful of people still control everything, even in some of the world’s wealthiest countries, millions of children are affected by poverty.
We hope Human Rights Watch, Governments from around the world, mankind’s free will, justice, ingenuity and the love for their own kind:
Will allow the world to feed and cure children thus allowing them to blossom and narrow the drastic ridge between future generations.
It has become a tradition to devote our December world exclusive editorial to highlighting the plight of children caught up in the world’s various vicissitudes.

This season, The Bridge Magazine wishes Merry Christmas to the Children in War Zones, to all disadvantaged children worldwide and to all children from all walks of life. Merry Christmas to all children around the world!

Uncertainty for children’s right to peaceful upbringings is all-pervasive.
Child poverty and suffering endangers the human species to future extinction.
Poverty and the suffering of children endanger the sustainability of the human species.
The number of children currently trapped in poverty around the world is inconceivable!
Regardless of the geographical detail, the rights of children to a peaceful education and harmonious development seem irremediably compromised.
While waiting for most of the world to grasp the concept that the love of humanity is one of the key cures to poverty and most of humanity’s plight,

This season, The Bridge Magazine wishes Merry Christmas to ALL children around the world!
We hope Human Rights Watch, Governments from around the world, mankind’s free will, justice, ingenuity and the love for their own kind will allow the world to feed and cure children allowing them to blossom and narrow the drastic ridge between future generations.

The Bridge MAG. 🌍 🗞️ Appreciation
This season, as a sign of gratitude, below are few readers’ comments worldwide. picked at random from the dashboard
From Tibet to Australia, via America, … thank you once again for commenting on my articles and for being part of my success.
“I was struck by your recent piece on trade, tariffs, and the hidden costs of human trafficking. You bring forward voices and truths that many would rather turn away from — and that makes your work both vital and lasting.
I’m building something…—
in a way that outlives the news cycle…— it’s about real voices being remembered.
Your work already embodies that spirit. If it resonates, I’d love to record a short session with you — a conversation that captures your perspective for the archive, alongside the journalism you’re already doing. We’re early in this project, so there’s no pressure and no fee barriers.
Would you be open to exploring that with me?
Warmly”
