Education remains one of the most valuable human assets because it is a permanent asset that cannot be either stolen, lost, or depleted as long as one is alive and in good health.
At a time where some might consider ditching education, either because they believe it is a waste of time – despite being able to benefit from the funding of their wealthy parents- Or others pushed out of education, excluded due to extreme poverty despite their passion, willingness or thirst for education:
On June 11th 2026, Time Higher Education published that “Value-for-money ratings for university degrees hit 13-year high.”
As a reminder, Time Higher Education is a prominent London-based data and news provider that reports on global colleges and publishes the widely recognised World University Rankings.

As global economic turbulence is all pervasive, alarm bells, fear and deep concern settles in as latest statistics published by The United Nations (UN ) on September the 5th 2026 in Geneva state:
“258 million children and adolescents worldwide are facing educational disruptions due to crises.”
The United Nations wrote on its X-Twitter page on Friday, September the 4th 2026, that:
“Education Cannot Wait (ECW) is seeking $600 million to help 10 million children affected by crises continue learning […]
the funding is needed to support 10 million children affected by crises between 2027 and 2030.”
Proving how low the rate of education has plunged whilst the cost of living skyrockets as millions scavenge to survive worldwide.

You might look over protective, but you are not – as the question is how old is too old to handle a life-threatening emergency?
When your legs can no longer carry you because of an illness or an accident?
How old is too old to cope with heart break?
How old is too old to cope with the loss of a job you wanted to keep so badly?
How old is too old to cope with bad landlords or tangled administrative routines and new legislation?
To parents worldwide. Housing standards and location:

Strategically securing a beautiful flat, an apartment or a house near your child or children’ school, training school for athletes, dance school for opera dancers, (whatever their passion and gift), is KEY.
It is a nightmare for the youth to travel 6 hours every day to get to school, university, their work place or to get stuck due to traffic, rush hour, strikes…
The youth get tired and unable to meet exams deadlines, let alone achieve good grades for their white papers or outstanding job references from their workplace if they travel lengthy miles daily.
Extracurricular activities (at least one) in case of a tight budget –
Jogging, tennis, netball, swimming, drawing, painting, LEGO building blocks…It has been medically proven that extracurricular activities enhance academic performance. Get involved in Creative arts & crafts projects such as drawing, painting… This enables Cognitive Reset.

In order to enjoy learning, children must have a balanced diet, good breakfast, a great lunch, their favourite snack, and a great dinner.
